The Assistant Teacher Application should be completed online .  Please visit the online application site found under the Apply Now button and follow the instructions for submitting an online application.  Please choose Teacher Assistant in the Position Desired Section of the application.  The required documents listed below should be uploaded in Education or Supplemental Materials [Non-Certified] Sections of the online application.

NOTE:  In order to qualify for employment as an assistant teacher according to the No Child Left Behind Act of 2001 (NCLB), the documentation below is REQUIRED. 

Please submit one of the following:


At least 48 college hours. (Please upload a copy of your official transcript or AA degree)  A Bachelors Degree. (Please upload a copy of your degree)

Passing of the ACT/Teacher Work Keys Test. (Please upload a copy of your scores/Certificate)

The Substitute Teacher Application should be completed online .  Please visit the online application site found under the Apply Now button and follow the instructions for submitting an online application.  Please choose Substitute Teacher in the Position Desired Section of the application.  The required documents listed below should be uploaded in Education or Supplemental Materials [Non-Certified] Sections of the online application.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHER ORIENTATION IS REQUIRED

PLEASE SUBMIT ONE OF THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW AND UPLOAD THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION 

Forty-Eight (48) college hours or Associate Degree. (Upload official transcript or copy of degree)

Passing the Work Keys Test.     (Upload copy of scores or certificate Silver/Gold)

Bachelors (or higher) degree.        (Upload copy of degree)

Mississippi Teaching Certificate.   (Upload copy of Certificate)
